Researching topics like wellbeing, strength and resilience and how to build and sustain them provides an important compliment to Psychology which has focused largely on repairing what is lacking. Not to be confused with positive thinking and self help, Positive Psychology tests theory scientifically.

Through research, it seeks to ‘boil down’ the habits that happy people practice into simple strategies you can try. Habits take effort to create, but research has shown that  you can increase your happiness levels, something many believed was governed predominantly by genetics.
